Octomore 17.1 Giveaway — Signed by Adam Hannett

This free giveaway is run by Panda Whisky Club CIC. The sections below explain who can enter, how referrals work, how the draw takes place and how to claim the prize.

1. The prize

Win one 700ml bottle of Octomore 17.1 Islay single malt Scotch whisky at 59.7% ABV, hand-signed by Adam Hannett especially for Panda Whisky Club.

There is one prize and one eligible winner. Please drink responsibly.

2. Who can enter

You must be aged 18 or over and live within the eligible area described below.

Your account details and selected residence region must be accurate. Eligibility is subject to review; a verified email address alone does not prove that accounts belong to different people.

3. Eligible locations

Eligible addresses are in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, subject to the island restrictions below.

The only eligible offshore islands are the Isle of Wight, Anglesey, Skye, Arran, Bute, Islay, Jura and Mull. All other offshore islands, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and other Crown Dependencies are excluded.

4. Opening, closing and draw times

All times are London local time, using BST or GMT as applicable.

• Entries open: 19 October 2026 at 00:00.
• Entries close: 6 November 2026 at 00:00 midnight (the end of 5 November).
• Scheduled draw: 6 November 2026 at 09:00.

The promoter's operator runs the system draw at or after the scheduled time. It is not an automatic timed draw. The result appears once it has been saved.

5. How to enter

Open this giveaway on the Panda Whisky Club website. Register for a free club account or sign in, verify your member email and complete the required age and location information.

Select your eligible residence region, confirm that you are aged 18 or over, read the rules and privacy information, and actively submit your entry. Each person may enter this giveaway once.

Registration, signing in or subscribing to emails does not enter you automatically. No purchase, payment, points, paid membership or marketing subscription is required.

6. Your base chance

Each entrant who passes the eligibility review receives one base draw chance.

Entries are reviewed after closing. A recorded entry awaiting review is not yet an approved chance. Check your entry status in My giveaways.

7. Optional referral chances

Each qualified new person you directly refer earns you one additional chance, up to two additional chances. The maximum is three chances per approved entrant, including the base chance.

You may invite more than two people, but the bonus remains capped at two. Only direct referrals count. Both you and the referred entrant must pass review.

Clicks, QR scans and registration alone do not earn chances. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts and ineligible entries do not qualify. Existing members may enter independently for their own base chance, but do not count as new-user referrals.

8. Accepting an invitation before registration

To qualify as a referral, a new user must actively accept your invitation before creating an account, using the email address they intend to register with.

They must register using that email and the same browser, verify their member email, actively enter this giveaway before closing, meet its eligibility requirements and pass review.

The necessary referral cookie lasts up to 30 days. A different email address, browser or lost cookie may prevent referral credit. New users may also enter independently without accepting a referral. Marketing consent remains separate and optional.

9. Your personal link and QR poster

After entering, find your personal referral link, referral code, QR code and personal QR poster in Member area → My giveaways. Referral tools also appear on the activity page once your entry is recorded.

You can copy the link or print/save the personal QR poster as a PDF. A visit or scan alone does not earn a chance; the new user must complete the qualifying referral and entry steps above.

10. Eligibility and referral review

After entries close, the promoter reviews entrants and their direct referrals against the published rules.

Pending entries and referrals are not approved chances. Duplicate accounts, self-referrals and ineligible entries are excluded from the relevant chance calculations.

11. Draw ticket codes

Once the reviewed list is locked, the system generates one draw ticket code for each valid chance. You may hold one, two or three tickets, depending on your approved referrals.

View your approved chance count and, after locking, your ticket codes in My giveaways. Before review and locking, you may see a recorded entry or pending referrals without final ticket codes.

You do not need to buy, redeem, email or separately submit these codes: every valid ticket automatically enters the draw pool. Your referral code identifies your invitation link; your ticket codes identify your draw chances.

12. The draw and published result

An authorised operator runs the system draw using the locked ticket list and a precommitted, verifiable public-randomness round. The system selects one ticket; the operator does not manually choose the winner.

Every valid ticket has the same chance of selection. Holding more valid tickets gives you more chances, up to the three-ticket limit.

If a technical interruption occurs, the draw is paused or recovered using the same locked list and committed randomness round. An alternative round or informal redraw will not be substituted.

13. Claiming the prize

The selected entrant must submit a prize claim within seven days of the actual time the draw result is saved. The exact personal deadline appears in My giveaways. It runs from the saved result, not from when a notification is sent or opened.

The winner will be notified by email on 6 November 2026 after the result has been saved, using their registered club contact details. The claim is linked to the account that owns the selected ticket; there is no need to submit a winning number separately.

Claims remain subject to age, residence and eligibility checks. An entrant who does not meet the published eligibility requirements will not receive the prize.

14. Delivery and age checks

Panda Whisky Club pays all prize postage and delivery charges within the eligible area. The winner must provide accurate claim and delivery details privately.

The prize will be dispatched after eligibility and age checks are complete. Valid photographic identification may be required.

The final verification process, carrier, delivery contact and dispatch arrangements will be confirmed privately with the winner. The prize will be delivered within 30 days of the closing date. See the separate delivery and age-verification section for the current arrangements.

15. Unclaimed prizes

If no claim is submitted by the recorded seven-day deadline, the prize remains unclaimed.

The selected entrant's entitlement expires if no claim is submitted by the recorded deadline.

16. Privacy, retention and enquiries

The public result identifies the winning ticket and provides verification information. No full name, email address, delivery address or identity document will appear in that result.

The winning draw ticket and verification record will appear in the Result & verification section on this giveaway's activity page once the result has been saved. Your own tickets, entry status and any personal claim deadline are shown in My giveaways. The winner will be notified by email on 6 November 2026 after the result has been saved, using their registered club contact details.

No full name, email address, postal address or identity document will appear in the public result. Limited information showing that a valid award took place will be made available on request, ordinarily the winner's surname and county. Entrants may object to disclosure or ask for less information to be made available by contacting hello@pandawhiskyclub.co.uk before release. Relevant information may still need to be provided to the Advertising Standards Authority if the promotion is challenged.

Photographs, testimonials and marketing publicity are optional and require separate agreement. The promoter will review the saved rules, eligibility records and draw proof and respond privately.

Delivery is available to eligible addresses in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Offshore islands are excluded except for the Isle of Wight, Anglesey, Skye, Arran, Bute, Islay, Jura and Mull. The Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, all other Crown Dependencies and all other offshore islands are excluded.

Panda Whisky Club will pay all postage and delivery charges for the prize within this area. There is no charge to claim or receive the prize.

The selected winner must submit their claim within the recorded seven-day period and provide an accurate name, delivery address and postcode. The prize will be dispatched once the winner's eligibility and age have been verified. Valid photographic identification may be required.

The promoter will check the selected winner's age and eligibility before dispatch and may request valid photographic identification privately. The prize will be sent using a tracked service requiring an adult to accept delivery. The carrier and dispatch details will be confirmed privately with the winner. The prize will be delivered within 30 days of the closing date.

Claim period: 7 days from the actual recorded draw. The winner's personal deadline appears in My giveaways.

The selected entrant has seven days from the actual time the draw result is saved to submit a prize claim. The personal deadline is shown in My giveaways. The period does not begin when a notification email is sent or opened.

Claims are subject to verification of age, residence and the other published eligibility requirements. An entrant who does not meet those requirements will not receive the prize. If no claim is submitted by the recorded deadline, the winner's entitlement to the prize expires.

We use your entry and relevant membership records to check eligibility, record entries and direct referrals, conduct the draw, respond to enquiries and arrange the prize claim and delivery.

Referrals are optional. A new user must choose to accept the invitation before registering, using the email address they intend to register with. A protected matching value and a necessary browser cookie, lasting up to 30 days, link the invitation to their entry. Use the same email address and browser to register, verify your member email and enter this giveaway. A different email address, browser or lost cookie may prevent referral credit. Clicking or scanning alone does not earn a chance. We do not access your contacts or send invitations on your behalf.

Marketing consent is separate and optional. You do not need to subscribe to marketing emails to enter or earn referral chances.

Only the selected winner will be asked to provide prize-claim and delivery details privately. You do not need to upload ID when entering. Valid photographic identification may be needed to verify the winner's age and identity. Verification and delivery arrangements will be confirmed privately with the winner. Necessary delivery information may be shared with the appointed carrier.

Giveaway-specific entry, referral and claim records will be reviewed for deletion or irreversible anonymisation within 90 days after prize delivery or documented closure of this giveaway. Information still needed for an unresolved complaint, evidence of a valid award or a legal obligation may be retained for longer, with a recorded reason, restricted access and a review date.

Club account records remain subject to the club's Privacy Policy. The necessary referral cookie has its separate maximum lifetime of 30 days.
